About
The Contemporary Music Centre connects artists and audiences at home and internationally through its dynamic, engaging and artist-centred programming. The centre supports artists at all stages of their careers, delivering professional development programmes, training and mentorship opportunities, and facilitating networking and collaboration in partnership with international and Ireland-based festivals, ensembles, orchestras and performing groups.
As the archive for New Music from the island, CMC maps our vibrant musical landscape, safeguarding an ever-evolving collection for public access online and at the CMC Library on 19 Fishamble Street in Dublin.
CMC also produces a regular podcast dedicated to New Music from Ireland covering artist’ profiles, in-depth features, discussions and live event recordings.
CMC is funded by the Arts Council/An Chomhairle Ealaíon and the Arts Council of Northern Ireland. CMC is a registered charity, and a company limited by guarantee.
