About
The Australian Music Centre (AMC) is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to supporting, advocating for and amplifying Australian art music and its creators.
Our mission is to present the ever-evolving variety of Australian music to the world, and support a sustainable environment for our nation’s musicians and creators. We do this through flexible, responsive and agile services which connect Australian creators to their audiences, enabling access, participation and engagement.
Representing over 1,000 composers and creators, the AMC library hosts the most comprehensive collection of Australian art music, recording, resources and educational material available to browse, hire and purchase. Our important work covers contemporary classical, contemporary jazz and improvised music, experimental music, multimedia, installation and sound art.
Through career support, major awards and professional development for Represented Artists, members and the wider community, AMC ensures Australian creators and their music will be heard and celebrated for years to come.
