Stephan Schulmeistrat appointed IAMIC Vice President

The International Association of Music Centres (IAMIC) is delighted to announce the appointment of Stephan Schulmeistrat to the position of Vice President.

Stephan is the Director at the Deutsches Musikinformationszentrum (miz) and recently hosted with his team the first in-person IAMIC conference since 2019 in Germany with activities in Hamburg, Bonn and Cologne. The conference was a huge success bringing together members from around the globe and presenting interesting and varied sessions and events.

Diana Marsh, IAMIC President, says “We are delighted that Stephan has accepted this role and we know that IAMIC will be well served through his strong leadership skills, together with his ongoing commitment to IAMIC“.

Stephan Schulmeistrat says "Being elected Vice President of IAMIC is both an honour and an incentive for me. Especially in times of crisis we see how important international cooperation is as a contribution to peace and understanding. I thank the Board of Directors for the trust they have placed in me".
