Saturation Tuesdays

In 2010 the Cdmc and the Ensemble 2e2m continue the consideration begun in 2008 of the theme of saturation, combining it with that led in the humanities and in architecture. Three day sessions — in three distinct venues — will be devoted to it, at the frontiers of the social sciences and contemporary artistic creation.

Objective music - An encounter with Dmitri Kourliandski

Encountered for the first time in 2004, at the 3rd International Forum of Young Composers organised by the ensemble Aleph, it is today thanks to the ensemble 2e2m, of which he is guest composer, that the Cdmc and Makis Solomos join in dialogue again with Dmitri Kourliandski. This young Russian composer defines his music as ‘objective music’, marked by an absence of action.

9th April 2009 - Cdmc (Paris)

This one-day meeting pays tribute to the composer Edison Denisov, who would have been 80 years old in April 2009. By his constant research of a new musical language, Denisov has established himself, from his very first works, as one of the true leader of the Russian avant-garde.
