Luxembourg

The Luxembourg Music Information Centre documents and promotes new music by composers from Luxembourg. Access to various lists of works by Luxembourgish composers is available online, including works for symphonic orchestra, chamber music and in various instrumentations. Music samples can also be downloaded. A data bank of Luxembourgish composers is compiled and continually updated.

LMIC / The Luxembourg Society for Contemporary Music (LGNM) is the organizer of an annual International Composition Prize for its ensemble, the Luxembourg Sinfonietta. Now in it's fifth year (2006) this event invites composers from all over the world to compose new works for the Luxembourg Sinfonietta.
