The Danish Arts Agency is an administrative unit under the Danish Ministry of Culture. The agency administers the financial support provided for artists and artistic activities by the Danish state, which is mainly granted by the Danish Arts Council and the Danish Arts Foundation.

Music Centre is part of the Danish Arts Agency and works to promote Danish music abroad by coordinating international music exchange. The main activities in 2006 are the organisation of Danish participation at the international music fairs Midem in Cannes and Popkomm in Berlin.

The website www.DanishMusic.info is a portal in English about Danish music and music in Denmark (all genres) aimed at music professionals. The Music Centre works together with a network of genre based organisations for rock, jazz, world, folk and contemporary classical music with the common aim of the promotion and exchange of Danish music.
